THE LIVEROOM

The JHX liveroom. The place where it all started. When the facility was first constructed in 2012 the liveroom was the most important space in the facility. Beautiful hardwood floors, specialised acoustics and atmospheric lighting in a 100m2 space. Designed to create big drumsounds, record lush grand and upright piano’s, strings, horns or a choir. Whatever you throw at this space, it will handle it with ease and respond with a beautiful coherent room tone. For this room flexibility was also a key feature; from the rugs to the walls and the ceiling panels, everything moves or can be taken out to create the perfect environment for a production. Additionally the liveroom is connected to every other room in the facility, making it somewhat of a ‘central hub’ for the entire studio. Tie-lines and headphones can be plugged in throughout to cater to your needs.
