Dolby Atmos is an immersive audio experience that empowers creators to place audio elements or ‘objects’ in a 3D sound field, which is not possible in stereo.
It can adapt to any playback environment and give your fans an immersive experience that matches your original vision in the studio.
Dolby Atmos devices are becoming more available every day, including the all-new Amazon Echo Studio, smartphones, AVRs, TVs, soundbars and through binaural technology can be heard on all(!) headphones. -
Yes, absolutely! There are multiple ways to create Dolby Atmos mixes from excisting material. Ideally we’ll have access to the multitracks or stems. This gives us the freedom to be creative in the 3D space. But, through splitting technology we can also create stems from stereo files. This is especially usefull for older catalogue that you want remixed in Dolby Atmos.
-
Yes! If you own a pair of headphones you can listen to Dolby Atmos mixes.
For approval we share two files for you to check:
1. .mp4 file that you can listen to with Atmos enabled headphones.
2. Binaural file: the binaural file can be listen to with any headphones, played from any device.
